I did find that the current OpenVPN GUI version (using OpenVPN v. I found IKEv2 worked but was slower and not as secure as OpenVPN (ExpressVPN's recommended/preferred). I tried MANY different things with NIC settings, VPN protocols, etc. As soon as I performed anything substantial (e.g., YouTube, speed tests, download medium to large files), the VPN tunnel would disconnect w/o any real failure/error in the log. I could browse, download, ping as long as it was small sizes (e.g., loading a simple web page-no video, just a Google search, just opening e-mail, just a < 10MB file (sometimes not even that). Hardware Abstraction Layer: Version = "2.752" I have a Dell G7 7790, Windows 10 build 1909. Posting here for posterity of future searchers. I didn't find this post until today (was grepping for their client not NordVPN's). I just spent the past 13 days with ExpressVPN trying to troubleshoot the same exact issue.
